Apple has specific requirements for App Store screenshots. Meeting these requirements is essential for your app submission to be approved. Here's everything you need to know.

Required Dimensions

Minimum Required

  • • 6.5" or 6.7" iPhone display (required)
  • • 12.9" iPad Pro display (if iPad app)

File Format Requirements

  • Format: PNG or JPEG
  • Color space: sRGB or Display P3
  • Bit depth: 8-bit per channel
  • Transparency: Not allowed (no alpha channel)
  • Orientation: Portrait or Landscape

Screenshot Limits

  • Maximum per device size10 screenshots

Content Guidelines

Apple reviews screenshot content. Ensure yours follow these rules:
